Are your psychologists registered?

Yes all our Registered, Clinical and Provisional psychologists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and are selected by Recharge Wellness.

How does it work?

Your first session with the psychologist will be bulk billed with a valid Mental Health Care Plan. If you then decide to continue seeing your psychologist, you will then be charged the standard fee with eligible medicare rebates.

Who can use Recharge Wellness?

Recharge Wellness is an online psychology clinic available to anyone based in Australia.

How much does it cost?

- General Psychologist = $225.00 or $126.05 after Medicare rebate
- Clinical Psychologist = $273.00 or $127.75 after Medicare rebate
- Provisional Psychologist = $131.25 not eligible for Medicare rebate.

Can I get bulk-billed sessions?

We believe everyone should have access to mental health services. You may be eligible to receive bulk billed sessions depending on your situation.

You can speak with our friendly staff to determine your eligibility for bulk-billing.

Do I need a mental health care plan?

You don't need a a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) to see a psychologist. However it does entitle you to receive Medicare rebates, making therapy more affordable.

We do have GPs at our clinic that we can connect you with at no cost, if you would like to get a MHCP.

What happens if I don't like my psychologist?

We understand that sometimes you might not click with your therapist. If this happens, we will give you the option to choose another psychologist more suited towards your needs.

What is the cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This gives us time to offer the spot to someone else who may be waiting.

If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, a late cancellation fee equal to 100% of the session fee will apply.

For bulk-billed clients, this fee will need to be paid privately, as Medicare does not cover missed appointments. Medicare rebates are also not available.
